Family Photography Charity Fundraiser

I am very excited to announce my 1st Annual Family Photography Charity Fundraiser!

In exchange for a $200 donation to a charity, you will get a photography session for your family and a disc of images. There are no costs besides the $200 charitable donation.

Start here:
1. Decide if my style of photography is right for your family. Check out my gallery & information slideshow to learn more about what I do.
2. Contact me for more information and to schedule a session.
3. After speaking with me, make a $200 donation to one of the 4 charities below. All charities have the goal of helping and empowering children in our area. You may decide to donate $200 to one charity or split your donation amount between them.
4. Forward me your donation receipt email. Once I receive this email, I will retain your date. If there is sensitive information in the email, such as a credit card number, delete the information before forwarding the email to me.

A few details:
1. This offer is only for my family or child photography.
2. I am not affiliated with any of these charities. I just believe in what they do and would like to help raise money for their organizations.
3. Be sure to contact me about scheduling your session before sending in your donation. This offer is limited to the first 5 families that retain their date, so contact me for availability
4. Sessions must be scheduled for a date before August 31, 2009.
5. Sessions must be in the Durham area (including Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Mebane, and other nearby towns.)

The charities:
1. The John Avery Boys & Girls Club
The mission of the John Avery Boys & Girls Club is to inspire and enable all youth of Durham, ages 6-18, particularly those from disadvantages circumstances, to engage in viable youth development programs and activities, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Doughman 2009

Today I went to watch some friends compete in the Doughman. It is described as a "self-propelled culinary tour of Durham, NC." Relay teams run, swim, bike & eat while raising money for The Durham Inner-city Gardeners Program.

I waited for the racers to arrive at Daisy Cakes, which was the last stop of the race.

Samantha at 6 weeks | Durham Baby Photography

It has been 3 weeks since the last time I saw this little girl & she has grown so much. Her eyes are wide open now & she is always studying the world around her. She is so expressive I can't stop myself from making sound effects or a running dialog to go with her current expression.

Here she is contemplating what her fist tastes like

The Myrtle Mission

I just returned from a retreat to North Myrtle Beach. During one of our breaks, I took a few scenic pictures along the beach.
